Job Description Within the Legal Department, you will join the team responsible for the strategic partnerships supporting the distribution of our games, including partnerships with major digital and technology platforms and console manufacturers, and contribute to the implementation of Ubisoft’s publishing strategy. Providing broader operational advice: You advise operational teams on competition law matters and market practices arising from distribution, commercial negotiations and partnerships; You provide practical, business-oriented advice on a broad range of day-to-day operational matters in an international environment and coordinate with relevant internal stakeholders and legal specialists on cross-functional and multi-jurisdictional issues. Developing your expertise in new technologies and evolving distribution methods: You monitor technological, market and legal developments relating to the video game industry, including content distribution and translate relevant developments into practical guidance for internal teams; You develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the legal implications of evolving distribution models and technologies and recommend practical adaptations to our contracts and distribution models. Qualifications To succeed in this role, you have relevant experience in commercial transactions, business law and/or intellectual property gained in a law firm and/or in-house, within an international environment. Business-oriented, you have solid experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, ideally with major digital players or technology companies.
