We are Emma – The Sleep Company . Founded in 2015, we have grown into the world’s largest direct-to-consumer (D2C) sleep brand, with a presence in over 20 markets and more than 35 Emma stores across Europe. Our mission is simple: to develop sleep comfort products that empower our customers to awaken their best every day. Today, our products are trusted by millions and recommended by leading consumer associations worldwide. It’s our people who bring this mission to life. At Emma, you’ll join a driven, international team that values ownership, collaboration, and continuous knowledge sharing. With colleagues from over 70 nationalities, we combine diverse perspectives with a shared ambition to learn, grow, and create lasting impact, together. Ready to awaken your best with us? What You'll Do: You are performing all corporate secretarial and statutory compliance tasks of Emma Sleep India Private Limited. You organize and run board and general meetings, prepare resolutions and minutes, and maintain all statutory registers, minute books and records. You manage our ROC filings and annual compliance cycle under the Companies Act, including annual returns, director declarations and KYC, auditor appointments, share allotments and changes to the entity’s constitutional documents. You monitor our RBI and FEMA obligations, such as annual returns, FDI and ECB reporting, and the reporting of intra-group payments and dividend repatriation, together with our finance and tax teams. You take care of registrations and local compliance, including GST, Shops and Establishment, Professional Tax, EPFO and digital signatures, and keep our office addresses and licenses in order. You own our POSH compliance: you support the Internal Committee, track its set-up, meetings and annual filings, organize trainings and keep case records confidential and complete. You work with our external advisors, auditors and authorities, and make sure that external support is used where it adds value, and not where an Emmie can do it faster. You act as legal sparring partner for our India team and advise on day-to-day questions, for example on contracts, e-commerce and consumer regulations, and other compliance topics, and involve external counsel when needed. You support selected corporate secretarial tasks for our other APAC entities, together with our local teams and advisors. You continuously improve our processes: compliance calendars, templates and documentation that make the next filing easier than the last one. Who We're Looking For: You are a qualified Company Secretary (ICSI) and/or hold a law degree with strong achievements. You have 3+ years of experience in corporate secretarial and compliance work, ideally in-house at a multinational or at a law, company secretary or chartered accountant firm. You have solid hands-on knowledge of the Indian Companies Act, FEMA/RBI regulations for foreign-owned subsidiaries, and the POSH Act. Experience with GST, labour law registrations or e-commerce and consumer regulations in India is a plus. Exposure to other APAC jurisdictions is a big plus. You are fluent in English and comfortable working with colleagues across time zones. You are well organized, deadline-driven and detail-oriented, and you keep an overview when many filings come together. You are hands-on and not afraid to speak up, you enjoy questioning the status quo and you are a true team player. Become an Emmie We are on a mission to become No.1 in the world of sleep, and we’re looking for driven, ambitious people to help us shape what’s next. If you’re curious, hands-on, and ready to challenge the status quo, you’ll find the space here to make things happen and create real impact. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings (\"OTE\") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. Annual Salary: $335,000—$385,000 USD Logistics Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience Required field of study: A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices. Visa sponsorship: We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this. We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification. Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team. Your safety matters to us. To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains. Legitimate Anthropic recruiters will never ask for money, fees, or banking information before your first day. If you're ever unsure about a communication, don't click any links—visit anthropic.com/careers directly for confirmed position openings. How we're different We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills. The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences. Come work with us! Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.
