Job Responsibilities :

As Legal Counsel, you will provide practical, business-oriented legal support to Razer’s global business and long-term objectives, in line with the parent company’s legal strategy. This is a general corporate counsel role with a strong commercial contracting focus, while also supporting intellectual property, brand protection, IP transactional, technology, regulatory, and dispute-related matters. The role requires sound legal judgment, commercial pragmatism, and the ability to work closely with product, sales, marketing, customer advocacy, human resources, finance, and regional teams.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Draft, review, negotiate, and close a broad range of commercial agreements, including customer, vendor, distributor, services, technology, software, marketing, licensing, and strategic partnership agreements.
• Provide practical day-to-day legal advice to product, sales, marketing, customer advocacy, human resources, finance, and regional business teams on commercial, corporate, regulatory, technology, and operational matters.
• Support intellectual property and brand protection matters, including brand usage, trademark and copyright issues, marketing clearance, trademark protection and prosecution, infringement reviews, enforcement strategy, and coordination with external counsel where needed.
• Support IP-related transactions and commercial arrangements, including license agreements, collaboration agreements, sponsorships, co-marketing arrangements, content-related agreements, and technology transactions.
• Assist with commercial, IP, brand protection, and technology-related disputes, including pre-litigation strategy, claims assessment, settlement support, and coordination with internal stakeholders and external counsel.
• Create, improve, and implement scalable legal processes, policies, playbooks, templates, and training materials to support efficient legal service delivery across the business.
• Provide training on contract management, brand usage, marketing practices, data privacy, AI-enabled workflows, and practical risk management.
• Stay current on legal developments affecting consumer technology, gaming, digital content, AI-enabled tools, privacy, regulatory compliance, intellectual property, and brand protection.

Pre-Requisites :

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. • 4+ years of post-qualification experience in a law firm and/or in-house legal department, preferably supporting technology, consumer electronics, gaming, digital content, or other fast-moving commercial businesses.
• Strong commercial contracting experience is required, with the ability to advise on a broad range of corporate, commercial, regulatory, technology, and operational legal matters.
• Experience with intellectual property, brand protection, licensing, content, software, marketing, or technology transactions is strongly preferred.
• Litigation, dispute resolution, or pre-litigation claims management experience is useful, particularly in commercial, technology, IP, or brand protection matters.
• Strong negotiation, drafting, analytical, and risk-assessment skills, with the ability to balance legal risk, business objectives, and operational speed.
• Ability to provide clear, practical, and commercially minded legal advice to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and manage multiple matters independently in a fast-paced, global business environment.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled workflows, digital content platforms, software products, and emerging technology issues is preferred.

Education/Experience:

J.D. degree from an accredited United States law school.

Salary Ranges:

$81,115.00 - $135,192.00 (per annum)
