Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Advising departments and conducting legal research on their behalf

• Researching, analyzing and interpreting proposed and existing laws, statutes, and regulations

• Cross-departmental advice and research on a variety of legal issues, in particular in the areas of Contract, IP,  Transportation, Customs, Corporate, Commercial and IT law, as well as product compliance in the area of e-commerce

• Preparing and reviewing legal documents/reports

• Conducting training courses in the above-mentioned areas

• Legal support for international cross-departmental projects, e.g. in the areas of marketing (including social media), private brands and customer experience

• Identifying, evaluating, and addressing issues of legal risk

• Ongoing process optimization

Job Requirements:

• Two successfully completed state examinations in law

• At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in a company or law firm

• Willingness and ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new areas of law

• Structured, flexible and solution-oriented way of working

• Excellent procedural and analytical thinking skills as well as the ability to structure, analyze and summarize complex issues in a targeted manner

• Strong service orientation and quality awareness

• Hands-on mentality and ability to work in a team, understanding and enthusiasm for economic contexts

• Strong communication, organizational and team skills

• Very good written and spoken German (C2) and English (B2), further language skills, especially Russian, an advantage
