Translate legal and regulatory advice into actionable solutions that can be integrated into the product development process, including product requirements, customer terms, disclosures and launch-readiness materials. Identify synergies and efficiencies in product development across jurisdictions as Yield scales into new markets, and develop practical legal frameworks, playbooks and processes that support repeatable product launches. Collaborate with Regulatory Compliance, Product Marketing, Licensing, Risk and relevant regulated partners, including banks, broker-dealers, custodians and investment managers, to support product governance, partner arrangements and ongoing product changes. Who you are We're looking for people who meet the minimum requirements for this role. The preferred qualifications are great to have, but are not mandatory. Minimum qualifications: JD (or equivalent law degree) and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction. 5+ years of post-qualification experience, at least some of which was gained at a top-tier law firm. Experience advising on investment products, discretionary or non-discretionary management, broker-dealer arrangements, custodial relationships, investment-management structures or related customer disclosures and documentation. Strong regulatory advisory and/or product counseling experience with a reputable law firm, financial institution or fintech, including at least three years advising on wealth-management products. Proven experience as a solution-oriented lawyer who enjoys working strategically with non-lawyers to support commercial outcomes. Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with Product, Compliance, Risk, Operations, Marketing, external counsel and senior stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions. Demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-jurisdictional legal workstreams, prioritize competing demands and take ownership of advice from product ideation through launch and expansion. Preferred qualifications: In-house legal experience gained in fintech, financial services, wealth management, asset management, securities, brokerage or another regulated financial-services environment. Experience working across relevant securities, investment-adviser, investor-protection, fiduciary, suitability or equivalent regulatory frameworks in multiple jurisdictions, subject to the specific scope of the Yield product. Experience building scalable legal playbooks, product-governance processes, launch checklists or other tools that improve legal efficiency and help teams move quickly with sound judgment. Comfort operating in environments with high standards, fast iteration cycles and evolving priorities, with a curious, collaborative and ownership-oriented approach.
